Why Work With Me?

I get it—life is busy, and not all dogs fit the cookie-cutter mold. My name's Lisa. I grew up in Springfield and I'm that neighbor who always says hi to every dog on the block. Since 2017, I've helped over 500 pups and rescue dogs find their best selves.

I use reward-based training, not gadgets or harsh methods. That means more tail wags and less frustration in your home. My sessions are approachable, and I'll never give you impossible lists of homework.

Every dog is different. I meet you both where you are—at home, at the park, wherever real problems happen. We start with goals that matter to your family and move at the right pace for your dog.

If you're looking for overnight miracles, I'm not the right fit. But if you want real change and lifelong skills (with lots of good vibes), let's talk!

Springfield's Local Dog Trainer — My Approach

Dog-friendly, people-friendly, chaos-friendly

My style is realistic, flexible, and kind. All training is reward-based—using cheese, chicken, or toys (whichever your buddy loves most!). You never have to worry about your dog being yelled at or jerked around.

How it works

Common things I help with

You're not alone if your dog isn't a perfect angel. With patience and teamwork, your dog's good side shines. I’ve worked with Springfield families, rescue groups, seniors, busy parents, and brand new puppy owners—there’s always a way forward for any situation.

Real Springfield Dog Parents Say…

Shonda, Buster's mom
“Lisa didn't just help Buster with jumping. She showed me how to work with him in our own yard. 2 weeks later my mother-in-law came over and was like, ‘What happened to Buster? He listens now!’
February 2024
Greg, rescue foster
“Our lab mix came terrified of men and doors. After four sessions with Lisa, she greeted me wagging and even walks with me at Washington Park. Never thought we’d get here. Lisa’s patience is gold!”
May 2023
Emily & Trevor
“We thought we’d tried everything for Daisy’s barking before a friend said to call. The walk-by barking dropped in just one session, and Lisa made training actually fun. We feel way less embarrassed now!”
